I Left My Heart...

How about a trip here? Point Reyes, California. Many happy memories hiking the beach with my family growing up. I'm hoping to take a trip to California soon. This looks like a fantastic getaway for some rest and relaxation... and how about a trip here for some fresh cheese. Kayaking, hiking, oysters - so much to do in West Marin. Can't wait!

Time is Flying

Is this the most delicious looking assortment of veggies and fruit?! Geauga Family Farms has really delivered. And they are the nicest folks. There are numerous invitations to go out and tour the farms in the co-op and there's a wonderful weekly email with updates and recipes. My only problem is keeping up with all the veggies. Exactly at the moment I was becoming overwhelmed and rethinking my vegetable commitment, GFF emailed with a kind word about how common vegetable guilt is among the CSA crowd mid-summer and offered some helpful suggestions like sharing. I am seriously considering bringing a cabbage to work and leaving it in the lunch room and labeling it up for grabs!
